(from the series Here & There)

Here is an ongoing photographic collage series from the larger body of work Here & There, rooted in the landscapes and interiors of my immediate surroundings, particularly the Hudson Valley and New York City. Built from photographs taken from shifting viewpoints and assembled into layered compositions, the work reflects how familiar spaces reveal themselves through repeated observation and lived experience.

Rather than presenting fixed views, each collage gathers details — fragments of light, texture, architecture, and perspective — that accumulate into compositions that are simultaneously cohesive and disjointed. Through this process, everyday environments become dynamic and expansive, shaped as much by memory and perception as by physical form.

By returning to the same places over time, subtle changes in atmosphere, structure, and light emerge. Interiors carry traces of daily life, while local landscapes unfold through layered moments of attention. The work invites viewers to move slowly through each composition, discovering relationships between space, detail, and experience.

Here offers an immersive way of seeing the familiar — where place is not static, but continually unfolding through accumulated moments.
